Course: OpenEdge pre-employment
Period: 21 November 2016 to 12 January 2017
There’s no better way to gain valuable experience and launch your career than joining an internship in the field you’re studying. Not only can you develop communication and interpersonal skills, but also you will know how it’s like to work in an office and perform in a professional manner. Progress OpenEdge course gave the chance to our self-motivated students to see how a real IT project is developed, as well as how to prioritize tasks and work independently. We are glad that you have attended this internship!
“Wayfare is not just an IT company, it's more like a family; people are very welcoming, helpful and competent and as an intern, I found this to be an excellent environment for me to learn Progress. This was a new technology for me and I am thankful for the opportunity I've been given to develop both programming and inter-personal skills with these awesome people.”
“I started my experience at Wayfare with an internship and I found here a good environment for developing new skills. I met here friendly people, which are always willing to help. These things were the main factors of my decision to continue my experience at Wayfare.”
“The last two months were exceptional. I had learned a lot of new and interesting things. At the beginning I was very nervous, but I discover that the people who are working here are amazing people. For me, it was the best way to start my career. In the end, I just want to say that I am honored to be one of Wayfare’s interns and I hope that we can continue what we started here.”
“In the last 2 months I had the great pleasure to work here at Wayfare, in a competitive environment, but very friendly, side by side with some great colleagues. I find that learning a new technology is of utmost importance in this field of work, and that’s what I’ve done here. I am confident that the experience I gained during this time will be of use to me in the years to come.”
“I appreciate that I was given the opportunity of the training in Wayfare. It was an amazing professional experience and, at the same time, it was a great deal of fun. I have improved my knowledge regarding databases and of course Progress.”
Being a programmer is way more than graduating and receiving a diploma from a Computer science university. It is about making your job into your passion. This way of thinking is what Wayfare is trying to transmit through its IT trainings to the fresh graduated generation. Our trainings are meant to challenge those who are interested in new technologies, which are eager to learn about new architectures, to test and overcome their limits becoming the pros of tomorrow and why not, members of our Wayfare family.
