We are looking for a positive, passionate, curious and detail-oriented QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory, structured, manual and regression tests in order to ensure the highest degree of software quality.
This is a mid-position within Wayfare for professionals with minimum 1-2 years of manual testing experience in commercial projects.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a QA engineer in Wayfare you will be responsible for performing functional tests, writing new test cases based on requirements and using test design techniques (SMOKE, Regression, Integration, etc.); You will run, interpret, maintain and develop automated tests; You will report issues found and work collaboratively with QA, development and business groups to complete tasks fit for business and in timely manner.
ARE WE A GOOD-FIT?
Understanding of software development process; Understanding of software product lifecycle; Understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and quality control techniques; Understanding of OOP paradigms; Basic knowledge of WebServices/ RestAPI functionality and related concepts: xml, json, authentication methods; Basic knowledge of UI automation testing and testing tools (like Selenium, Mocha, ChaiJS, SinonJS, Karma, headless Chrome, Istanbul, WebPack, Mochawesome); Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL syntax; Strong interpersonal skills; Familiarity with task/ bug management tools (like TestRail, Jira, Confluence, etc.); Analytical and critical skills, synthetic thinking, attention to details; Manual testing experience in commercial projects; Advanced written and speaking English skills.
Customer orientation; Familiar with C# and/or scripting language, like Python; Intermediate written and speaking German skills (B1-B2); Working experience of Agile methodologies / SCRUM framework; Knowledge of the Progress OpenEdge RDMS.
