At the end of 2018, we partnered up with Vermont Systems for what we aim to be a long-term and strong relationship, based on trust and with a focus on delivering the best results within the team and within the project.
As we started this collaboration, we also achieved a key milestone for our company: our first client in the USA.
Vermont Systems is a market leader in Recreation Management Software with the primary focus on providing a range of applications that increase the efficiency and productivity in organizations. Since 1988 they have specialized in developing fresh software products for managing recreation and parks operations for municipal, county, state or even military governmental entities.
Our journey together began when we met Giles – CEO and Jon – CTO, last year in August when they first visited our offices. As we expected, their visit led to a mutual understanding of the collaboration we aim to have, which created a great start-up feeling. The project started in October with the first assessments, while our team was familiarizing with the recreation management software.
This was followed by an On-Site visit in Vermont to Vermont Systems headquarters, which turned out to be a great opportunity to learn about their company culture and their workflow, and the perfect environment for team bonding.
What makes this collaboration great is not only the opportunity to be involved in the application development for a market leader using the technology we master, Progress OpenEdge, but also the team bonding, mutual trust, respect and fun.
