A Day of Joy, Connection, and Rediscovery
There’s something magical about leaving behind the everyday and stepping into nature with people you genuinely enjoy. That’s exactly what we did on our teambuilding trip to Treepi—a place where laughter echoed through the trees, friendships deepened, and memories were made around campfires and coffee cups.
The Journey Begins
We boarded the bus with sleepy smiles and weekend vibes, heading toward Belis with excitement tucked between backpacks and breakfast snacks. Treepi welcomed us with the smell of fresh doughnuts and warm pies, and of course, a much-needed cup of coffee. It felt like arriving at a friend’s cabin in the woods.
Games, Giggles & Getting to Know Each Other
We kicked off with a playful icebreaker: Who Am I? Each person wore a mystery name and had to guess which teammate they were pretending to be. It was silly, sweet, and surprisingly revealing.
Then came the challenges:
• Blindfolded bouncing with a giant ball, guided only by teammates’ voices.
• Tossing beanbags in a game of cornhole.
• Balancing eggs on spoons while trying not to laugh too hard.
Tandem Adventures
We paired up for a series of hilarious and heartwarming tandem tasks:
• Sack races in twos, bouncing and stumbling in sync.
• Balloon balancing between bodies—no hands allowed!
• A three-legged race that tested coordination and patience.
The final challenge was a trust exercise like no other: one teammate stayed sighted while the rest were blindfolded, relying on gentle guidance to navigate an obstacle course. It ended with everyone passing through a hula hoop together—symbolic, maybe, of how we move forward as one.
A Good Laugh
Before enjoying a nice meal, each team performed a short, funny skit. It was the perfect way to wrap up a day filled with joy, teamwork, and just the right amount of chaos.
Food, Fire & Furry Friends
After all that action, we gathered for a hearty lunch cooked in a traditional cauldron, followed by a delicious grilled dinner. Volleyball, football, and ping pong kept the energy high, while stories around the campfire brought a sense of calm and connection. We even made two new friends: Fulg and Isa, the resident dogs of Treepi, who trotted around like unofficial team mascots.
Coming Home, Together
We returned on the same bus, a little tired, a lot closer, and full of stories to tell. At Wayfare, we believe in meaningful journeys—and this one reminded us that the best paths are the ones we walk together.
